Why do I have 4 id cards( paper ) in my car insurance policy paper from Statefarm ??

Why do I have 4 Id papers from my statefarm agent ?

They all look similar too . Am I supposed to keep one with me , one in my car , one in a safe deposit or something ?

Why do I have 4 id cards( paper ) in my car insurance policy paper from Statefarm ??
state farm does do the overkill.

mine only gives me two.

put one in the car and one in your wallet in case you are driving someone else's car and are pulled over or in an accident.

put the other two away for safekeeping in case you lose one of the others. They give you multiple ones to cover multiple cars or drivers. if you only have one car and you are the only driver then you just have extra.
Reply:One for your car, one for your wallet, keep one at home, and one is extra in case you lose one of the others. Consider yourself lucky. I have State Farm and I only get two. :) It could have been a mistake...it probably wont happen again, just make sure all the information is the same and then dont worry about it!
Reply:I work for State Farm. Typically we only send two unless more are requested. It could have been an error. Double check the expiration dates to be sure that none of them are out of date.

You're given two so that you may keep one in your glove box and one in your wallet, like everybody else said.

Feel free to discard the extras if you don't want to store them. Your agent could always give you more if you needed more.
Reply:I put one in the glove box, and one in my wallet in case I'm driving some other vehicle (like a rental). The cards are all the same if you only insure one car. If you insure more than one car, they may be for your different vehicles.
Reply:They are for additional drivers or if you want to keep them in different places.
Reply:lol..you only need 1..i tear mine up or throw in the car in case i lose my wallet
