ID cards???

I turn 18 tomorrow and was wondering whats the best form of age id, because i dont want to take my driving licence or passport out with me (incase i lose it)

ID cards???
A lot of town councils have special ID`s for those over 18 as proof of their age on licenced premises.

Happy birthday for tomorrow.
Reply:driving license is the best form.
Reply:Check with your county agency that issues drivers license. They can issue a state ID. You may want to call to ask what you need to bring. It may be something like a birth certificate, or they may be able to verify it by looking up your information from your drivers license.

The ID's are often issued to senior citizens who are no longer able to drive or people who are handicapped and can't drive for some reason and need a form of official ID.

It will look similar to a drivers license but the color may be different and it will be prominently marked state ID
Reply:Its driving license or passport I'm afraid.

When my son turned 18, he tried all them other ID's they give you at school and that the local council promotes and they refused to let him in anywhere because he didn't have driving licence or passport.
Reply:You didn't specify where you might be going that requires an ID. Most such places require a picture ID and some accept only drivers licenses or State issued ID cards.
Reply:Some times they have applacation in your newsagents
