Reply:I don't think it will be as bad as you feel. Yes, it will be an Identification card, and it will allow the government to better keep track of who is who, but to think they will be tracking your every move? That is paranoia.





I just hope this ID card will do the following


a) cut down on identity theft


b) cut down on illegal aliens getting fake papers


c) cut down on voting fraud





I remember I saw a show on Discovery channel years ago that said that eventually we might have one "super card" that would be a combination of your ID, drivers license and every credit card you own.





heck, I believe that you should have a picture on just about everything that matter - credit cards, social security card, etc..





This should hopefully fix a lot of problems. It is just that people who are paranoid about "big brother" watching their every move makes it difficult to keep identification secure.





This is really rough, and I'd clean it up, but my daughter is hungry.

Ok even if it does happen… first off it would be useless, cause if you really want to do something bad you wouldn’t carry it or use a stolen or fraudulent card %26lt;duh%26gt; crook are not that stupid… anyway the government would have to put the chip into you body – preferably a necessary organ so it couldn’t be removed or manipulated… do you really think that going to happen???





Really? SO maybe you get a plastic federal issued ID like a drivers license … which consider the speed at which the federal government works it will be closer to 2080 (2800 possibly?) than 2008… SO SCARRY %26lt;RME%26gt;!
