Did you know this? It has been reported that anyone who refuses to have an ID card will be unable to leave the country.
http://www.infowars.net/articles/march20...
Plus of course the Government's plans are to make EVERYTHING reliant on the ID card, ie purchases etc... so basically its a 'voluntary' scheme but if you opt-out you just won't be able to have a house/car/bank account/anything!! But its still voluntary!!
I cannot find the words to describe how angry and physically sick to my stomach this Big Brother government is making me feel. We are living under an authoritarian regime similar to the old Soviet Union, yet many people are blissfully unaware of it.
If you refuse to give the Government details of every aspect of your life and then let them control you, you will be refused a passport and thus become a prisoner in your own country.
What do you think about this? Please tell everyone you know - we HAVE to fight this!!!!!
"Voluntary" ID Cards?
That's a disgrace! I never knew any of this. I will be telling everyone about it. We should all get together and rebel against it!
Reply:I think ID is a good idea...many other countries have so...so why not UK
Reply:its worse than russia ever was weve got more cctv, most things are bugged including emails, ive been to prison quite a few times, the papers say its easy and how good prisoners have got it .all lies, the police just beat people up,terrorism is just an exuse,i hate the country and want to get out but i havent got a job or any money im 50 and stuck here, soon well be locked up for saying this, keep it up,spread the word, good luck.
Reply:Hi! Buck,
Don't worry, Identity cards are an excellent idea conceived by our Communist New Labour leaders, Identity cards will solve everything? The German Nazi's and the Russian Stalinist s had them and what glorious countries they turned out to be under those regimes. The good side is it will make it easier to find you and since Blair has had the starting of a secret police force going for some time, perhaps the next step will be torture chambers to help you relax. As I said don't worry so much
To Jeeper
That maybe so Jeeper but that is the banks right but it leaves the right for me to not join the bank without being punished in other areas. I'm not as free as i would like but any further restrictions are not on as far as I am concerned.

Reply:Ah tell me, just how would anyone buy a car NOW, without a ID card of some kind ?
Unless they are paying cash for some clunker, then they would still have to have ID to register that car.
Have you ever heard of anyone opening a bank account without any ID ?
I sure haven't.
Just how do you buy a house, without getting a mortage ?
Just how do you get a mortage loan, without any ID now ?
So I'm wondering, just what you are so upset about, everything you listed that you would have to have an ID to buy or do, you have to have an ID NOW to buy or do, so what changes ?
Reply:You forgot to mention that they also have plans to 'sell' your details to whoever comes up the cash to buy them. You will have a never ending stream of people knocking on your door and the phone ringing day and night.
Reply:I have no problem in the national ID card. In fact I would be willing to pay for it myself. Those who object must have something to hide.
Reply:you`re right.my father and uncles fought against this sort of behaviour.but we r having our freedom curtailed more %26amp; more.government should remember hitler-other dictators.we r supposed 2 b a free country but it`s going 2 the dogs.
Reply:That's what they told us about the "selective service". Its voluntary also (not sure about now). But if you don't sign up then you are basically cut off from the country.
Reply:To Biblically Based Christians this has been taught as the coming MARK of the BEAST
and it is now HERE---think of it as you will
it is the setting in motion of the one world government
that will eventually kill off all individual thinkers and people
of any truth based faiths !! To not see this is to be blind
and to not resist it is to be sheep ready for slaughter !!!
Reply:The government not restricting, halting, or harrassing law-abiding citizens during intra-country traveling is a cornerstone of a free society. The national ID (coming soon in America too) is the first step towards, "May I see your papers, please?" and it should be resisted at all costs.
Reply:Poor, misguided 'Jeeper P'. All current forms of I.D provide are confirmation of your name , address and possibly, age. The government propose to store private and personal details which are of no interest or value to anyone other that those who might seek to control our movements, lifestyles, finances, thoughts and opinions. Even if you belive the current governmet to be benign, once these details are on record they are there for any future administration to abuse. Also vulnerable to computer savvy identity criminals too. Yes..wake up out there..our very freedom is at risk.
