What else do you think the £5.612bn could be spent on if ID cards were to be scrapped?

The Home Office has said that the cost of ID cards over the next 10 years would be £5.612bn, which of course will actually cost a lot more...*cough*millenium dome/wembley stadium.

Instead of making us pay all this, what else could our hard earned cash be spent on?
