What is a valid US citizen? One is either a US citizen or not.





These cards would be issued to all legally present in the US, nothing to do with being a US citizen or not. That's what a passport is for!





basically it is an ID card with higher security measures than some states already have.

Reply:It makes it an expensive pain in the rear for US citizens. Supposedly it will make it nearly impossible for illegals to get ID. As far as I know illegals aren't getting in line to get ID cards anyway. It's a waste of time and money to everyone.
