Where can you get military dependant ID cards online?

Or, where can you get a dependent ID card in central Florida?

Please provide a link, or links. Thanks.

Cant get them online. But the link I gave you can put in you your state, zip, or city to find the nearest office to get an ID card.

Reply:Go to ANY military base. The Navy has bases in Orlando, Pensacola, JAX, Mayport, Key West. If none of those work try any other branch of the military. Use the white pages government section of your telephone book and call the admin department yourself.
Reply:You can't get it online as everyone else has stated but you do NOT have to have your sponsor with you. I've had to get 3 over the past 3 years and not once did my husband have to be with me. The first time I did have to have some paperwork (and it wasn't a POA it was something he got when he first enlisted) but after that all I needed was the old one.

By the way....if there's a reserve base near you then go there because the wait is almost nothing. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes with card in hand whereas when I took my son for his at a larger base it took almost 2 hours.
Reply:You can not get one online, you must go to a base...anyone really and get your ID there. No other way.
Reply:You cannot get one online, nor can you get one without the sponsor being with you. If the sponsor is unavailable due to deployment you must have a general power of attorney to get a card.

The RAPIDS office at nearby bases in your area should be contacted first before you go in and wait. They can tell you exactly what is needed before you get there. Also, many local National Guard units are able to issue ID cards with proper documentation.

postnote: If he hasn't been enrolled in DEERS the sponsor has to be with him or he will need orders and/or general power of attorney. Getting the POA is better because any forms that need the sponsor signature can be signed with it.

From the DEERS website at Fort Bragg ARMY base is the following.

► Two forms of Identification, e.g., Drivers license, passport, expired ID Card.

► General Power Of Attorney, Special Power of Attorney that includes DEERS and or ID Cards in the authority given in the Power Of Attorney OR a copy of the Soldier's federal or state mobilization/deployment orders.

Reply:The above answer is correct. When you get the initial dependent card you do not need the sponsor there, you just need the DEERS paperwork stating you are new in the system and the paper that requests an ID for your dependent.
Reply:You can't get them online. you must go to a Military Base (regardless of which service's branch it is) and go to the ID Cards center.
Reply:You can't get them online, you have to go to a base. In central florida your closest base is probably going to be Patrick AFB in Satellite Beach (East Coast) or MacDill AFB in Tampa (west coast). There is also one base to south near Miami (Homestead) and three to the North (Tyndall, Hurlburt and Eglin).

You can go to a bses website by typing www.basename.af.mil. Like eglin is www.eglin.af.mil.
Reply:You can't get it online, but you can get one at any military base. Just do a search for bases near you. Good luck.
