Does anyone know how fast you can get a TX Id card (or any other state maybe) after you applied for it? Just an id card not a license or a miltary id. Does it come in the mail or do you get it then, or how does that work.

It actually varies by state...I've lived in several different states, including Texas. I know for sure Tx mails you your ID and it can take up to 2 weeks, but they are pretty good about being prompt. Other states give it to you on the spot.
