I dont care if you are for it or against it. My teacher assigned me this one so please just help me out.
My paper is against national id cards. One of my 3 points is lack of privacy,

Reply:Redundant since every state has driver's licenses and we already have a federal ID in the form of a passport (and the feds can't keep up with getting those issued in a timely manner)
An additional expense
What do we really need it for? Our healthcare is privatized and our schools have to take everyone.
