I am 100% disabled military vet due to agent orange. My wife and I have military ID cards. Can we fly space A?

It depends on what kind of military ID you have. 100% DAVs holding a regular retiree ID card can fly Space A.

100% DAVs in possession of DD Form 1173 or 2765 (replaces the DD Form 1173) identification cards are not entitled to Space-A travel aboard DoD aircraft.

It is unfortunate that all DAVs can't use space A. Especially since only 10% of totally disabled vets are physically able to fly at all. Congress authorized it, but DOD said no.

If by "military ID cards", you mean you are retired military, then yes you can.
Reply:No you can't. Sorry about that.
Reply:No. Space available travel is restricted to active duty, retirees and their lawful dependents. Even though both you and your spouse possess DD 1173 ID Cards, it is your status which determines eligibility.
Reply:100% disabled are not authorized to fly Space A.
Reply:back from what I can remeber, there were military vets that were able to fly space A. That was back in 2002. Unfortunately I am not sure now.
